I would like to be able to have operator selected vertical and square aspect ratio choices, in Zoom and Pan Animations

Even though aspect ratio of the overall project is rectangular, when doing animations Zoom and Pan, there are occasions that I would like to have a vertical or square type zoom to show more of the tool open window (in Photoshop, as an example) so that the viewer can better see what I will be selecting as my next tool selection.  So, a user defined zoom window would be appreciated, as to show more of a vertical tool selection window I have to have a rather large horizontal rectangular window, which then does not bring attention to the area I am trying to emphasize.

Here is a solution for you. This is for Camtasia 8; however, the principal and steps are almost all the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzCsPMMlEDM

If you are in Camtasia 9, instead of Ctrl+Z to place the key frames in Camtasia 9 Shift + A.  I'll probably do an update this for Camtasia 9 / 2018 sometime in the future. But this should give you the idea on how to do it.  :-)
