I would like to see a tool where you can cut out any part of the image at any angle. (Masking)

      Example 1:
Say you have a video and you need to add an overlay but, the overlay covers a certain spot on a lower layer, it would be nice to crop out the middle of the overlay to see the layer underneath.

     Example 2:
You have an overlay and an irregular shaped object traverse in front overlay (Or at least you want to give that illusion) You could click and drag points you have added on the side to crop it or size it correctly.

Why?
I believe it could bring Camtasia closer to the top of top-notch editing programs.

Work around: You can accomplish some (not all) of what you are looking for using Masking and Freeze Region under Visual Effects.

In C9 I don't have those options. Only: Drop shadow, Border, Colorize, color adjustment, Remove a color, clip speed & interactive hotspot....
