I would love to have a feature to enlarge a section of the screen or a button

It would be so nice to have the ability to hightlight a button and make the selection ZOOM IN to show emphasis.  Or a Menu Item or any section of a screen that you may want to zoom.  I do training videos and this would be a create feature.  Now I take a screen shot.  Go to other software enlarge the image of the button and then import it as media and insert it as a layer on top , have it fade in and then back out.
Thank you

You can use Zoom-n-Pan option in the Animations functions.

Zoom in and drag to position to the area of the video you want, than zoom out/Scale to fit to go back to the full video.

Here's another method that's cool by Lon Naylor

and another by one of the Techsmith staff. Kinda like Lon's above but with a little twist.

Thank you. I know all about pan and zoom..... What a pain. Would it not be cool to have this feature, that was all I was saying. Have a feature of where you can select a area then it becomes an image in the media section then you can add that to your video and resize it. Boom, boom, boom

Thank you for sharing the video with the pop out, that is cool too

you can do what you want with Snagit; with canvas a full screen, use Snagit to grab the desired image; share to Camtasia, which puts the image capture in media bin; add to timeline, position and scale as desired
