I bought the program and then it stopped showing up on my desktop. What do I do now to bring it back?

I signed up for the free trial, loved the program so on 8/5 I purchased it but the icon stopped showing up after my trial and has not returned since my purchase of the program.

It sounds like you are looking to put a shortcut back on your desktop. I'm not sure what version of Windows you are running, but in Windows 7 (my version) you can add a shortcut by doing the following.

1. Click on the Start Menu (the round Windows icon in the lower left of your screen) and choose "All Programs" at the bottom of the tab.
2. Find the "TechSmith" folder, click to open and find Snagit
3. Right-Click on Snagit and choose "Send to"
4. Choose "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"

If you're not running Windows 7, the process may not be identical, but should be very close. This should put the shortcut icon back on your desktop for you.

Does this help? If you cannot find Snagit in your list of programs, you may have uninstalled it somehow. You can check your downloads folder for the installer and try installing again, as well.
