Do I need a software key to enter into the program? Where do I download the Pro version of Jing?

There is only one version of the Jing software, and the ability to use the Pro features is unlocked by logging in with the email address associated with the Jing Pro purchase.

When upgrading to Jing Pro, you'll need to associate Jing with the Screencast.com account (email address and password) used on your purchase. Here's how you do that:
Open Jing.
Wait for the Jing Sun to come to rest on your screen.
Hover over the Jing Sun and click the More ball (has 2 gears on it).
This opens a large circle. In this circle click the Preferences button (also has 2 gears).
On this new circle, find the "Manage Account..." section, and click the "Switch Account..." button.
Make sure "Use existing account" is selected.
Enter your Screencast.com email address and password.
Click "Login."
That's it! You should be Pro!

Yes, I've had the same problem. Really disappointing. I won't be using Screencast or associated products again.

David, can you submit a support ticket via our website? You create an account and we get the ticket via email, usually we can get activation problems resolved for you.
