are you supposed to talk about a beta product? In all my years of beta testing for companies like Dell, MS, Intuit, and others, they have an agreement you sign and part of it is you don't talk about the beta software outside the beta community. One reason is because stuff you see may or may NOT be in the next released version -- and may disappear forever.

Just saying.

Hey everyone,

I think Merlin is referring to the beta of Screencast.com, which everyone has access to. If that's the case Merlin, glad you like it!

But yes, Dave, those same policies apply to closed betas here as well.

That is correct Logan, I needed to sign on and screencast beta was offerred up. Once loaded it I was ask to comment on it by the web site. As I did not sign an NDA and the site asked, I provided.

Dave, You are correct in your statement, I too work on releases that do not get discussed outside. I would not intentialy release info and as you can read I left the comment somewhat generic anyway. Would ike to speak more of it given the chance.

Techsmith offers some great products that shouldbe made known when posible.
