Hi,

I'm doing lots of captures for a book of photography and there's a problem with Snagit: it doesn't use icc color profiles.

That means that it cannot preserve accurately the color of the images and photographies showed into an image editor, ie. This is not a big problem for common captures but it is when you work with photos and high gamut monitors (with color gamuts similar to Adobe RGB).

This has a very easy solution: just assign and embed the active screen icc profile to the compatible file (TIFF, JPG, PNG). Screen capture in a Mac does it.

Even better: if it allows to (first) assign the monitor's profile and then (second) convert to a desired profile (like AdobeRGB or others) it will be perfect.

Regards,
