Idea: Make the layout more like Visual Studio with docking and pull out panel options

With all the great options in Snagit, it would be more efficient and user-specific if Snagit was laid out like Visual Studio's interface, with the ability to dock tools the way the user wants and to have sliding side panels that can be locked open or auto-hide.

Here are the side panels in Visual Studio. They are tabbed. You can lock them to stay open or have them auto-hide. If you click on a tab, it slides out for use.

If you drag a panel to the canvas area of the screen, you have the option to select where you want the panel docked.

We users would love this tool. And if you are a user that hasn't had the opportunity to see how this works, search the web for "Full-featured Visual Studio-like Docking System".

This would greatly enhance Snagit.

I agree with this, it would be great to organize the UI as I need to.

I think Snag-it is a fantastic product and use it hours every day and this would make it even better.
