idea - students would like to create screencasts on chromebooks, and there is no app that does that now. The ideal Snagit app would be able to create screencasts with the annotation and audio so that students can demonstrate what they are learning, or explain a concept. Snagit for Chromebooks should be better than the iPad Explain Everything app---

Hi Helen,

Thanks for starting the topic.  You beat me to it! :-)

The short answer is that we plan to add screencasting as soon as it is possible.

There are a few technical limitations in Chrome that are preventing us from efficiently capturing the screen.  However, Google is already working on some improvements that look promising.  We will be keeping a close eye on things and are excited to jump on the opportunity when it becomes available.
