This could be with the conversion codecs.

How are you converting the .mxf to mp4 ?

Thanks for your reply, Dubie
I convert it with a VLC  media player

(I live in the Netherlands, so my answer came as I woke up)

I have never had good results using VLC to do conversions.

Try using Handbrake (it's free) https://handbrake.fr/
If you have never used it here is a quick run through

1. Select your .mxf video

2. Chose where to save it when converted.

Under "Output Settings" use MP4 and check "Web Optimized"

3. Under video tab I generally use these settings.

4. Click Start to begin the conversion.

If using Handbrake does not work, you could search (Google) for other .mxf to mp4 converters
or maybe the easier is to play your .mxf video in VLC and record it with the Camtasia
recorder to get a .mp4 video.

:)
