If they miss the hotspot, the entire experience is ruined.

I have created an interactive video with hotspots. However; when the try to click the hotspot, if they click on any other part of the video it takes them to different parts of the video. If it's the left side of the screen, it takes them to an earlier timeline, if it's the right side of the screen, it take them forward. How do we limit this to when they actually choose to do so in the controls at the bottom of the screen. This problem is ruining the entire interactive experience.

it sounds like the hotspots in the project are configured incorrectly?

clicking outside a hotspot area does not affect video navigation; but it can pause/restart the video playing

can you host your video on screencast.com and share here so we can see what is happening?
