If I take a screenshot, how can I paste it into my Media section of Camtasia 2 for Mac?

I use the normal Mac screen shot, but when I try and paste it anywhere in Camtasia, it won't paste. This means I have to paste it into Word or PPT, save as image, making it a huge pain.

Unfortunately there is a bug in Camtasia for Mac that prevents this from working as expected. It will work if you have not yet copied anything on the timeline or preview since you last launched Camtasia, but once you copy something within Camtasia, pasting images from outside of Camtasia stops working correctly.

Hmm, that is a huge issue. SnagIt works but it's a poor user experience having to use another program to take a screenshot, then drag the image in. Hopefully you all will either enable the ability to paste screenshots, or just integrate the snagit software within Camtasia without me having to buy snagit. I would hate to think they wouldn't allow pasted screenshots just to force people to use snagit.

Version 2.4.2 of Camtasia for Mac was released today, and it fixes this bug. The update is available via the "Camtasia 2" menu or at http://www.techsmith.com/download/cam... .

2.4.2 is not yet available in the App Store, but we are hoping it will be soon.
