I want to offer audio downloads to my clients. Can the audio track to my video powerpoint presentation be saved in a separate file?

Unless, of course, you are using Camtasia 9, in which case MP3 isn't really an option. For Camtasia 9 you produce as M4A Audio Only.

Hey Rick, in CS9, if you share/export audio, you get a WAV file; I find it faster than going the produce route ...

I must have missed this post and yes I would agree with kayakman (Bob) I do the same if I want just the audio and it is in the .WAV Format and if I plan on sharing it somewhere for a download so users can listen to it later I use Adobe Audition but Audacity will do the same thing and is a free audio editing software application. So I would use Audacity and then open/import the .WAV File into it do any editing to the audio if necessary and save it as an .mp3 file/format for a smaller file size so it does not take up as much space.
This is just the way I do it and others may do it differently just wanted to share my input with you all too. It was a great tip from kayakman to Rick. Have a great day/night.
Cheers ~ Fred.
