I'm new to video editing, in general; other than just taking a tutorial, is there someone I can talk to online, over Sype, or something?

I'm looking for someone I can talk to orally online, as I'm working on my projects, and just learning the basic program.

My apologies, for not replying, sooner; I'm 37, with a near-useless BA in the liberal arts, and am looking for a genuine salable skill, which I both like, and can do; digital digital video editing fits that criteria to a T.

If I can't find a place that teaches it, I'm going to have tove do all my learning online, and I was hoping someone could maybe talk things over with me on SKype, assuming I can get it operational on this laptop.

I wouldn't be available all the time Philip, but you can hit me up from time to time if you get in a pinch. Let me know.

Thank you; I've done a few projects over the year, but I'm trying to up my skills to the point of hirability, within a time frame of may eighteen months, or so.  TO be exceptionally good at something, you need 10,000 hours, but I'm trying to just get my foot in the door, at this point.

As is, I'll start watching the tutorials, and then come up with a project, maybe to create a poster of world symbols, or something.

How's that?  I'll start watching the ones on Camtasia Studio 8, tonight.
