Hello folks!

I am creating books for Kindle (and paperback) and can't have the images to look OK. They look blurry. Could someone please help me solve this?

1 - I ́ve tried all I can to avoid having the images look blurry when pasting on Word. I found this post https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/203732298-Snagit-Windows-Image-is-Resized-or-Blurry-when-Pasted-into-Microsoft-Word-or-Other-Applications but I don ́t seem to have the option of "Select Size and set scale to 100%." when clicking on Format  Picture.

I attach an image of what I see on my Word version:

PD: I have Microsoft Word 2011 so the other option mentioned there on the article for Microsoft Word 2010 is not there for me.

2 - Also images for Kindle need to be at least 300 DPI. Is there any way when capturing images with Snagit for MAC to have the images with at least those DPIs?

Thanks in advanced for your help! Really appeciate it.

Best,
Nico

Which macOS are you on currently? I ask because Word 2011 has many parts that are not supported in Catalina due to the 64 bit issue.

Hi,

In Snagit's advanced preferences, make sure to uncheck "Scale down retina images when sharing"

FileViewer might be the culprit here. Just took a look at it on the App Store and its website. It was last updated six years ago for Mavericks. So, I will make the same comment about this app as I did for Word 2011. During those six years, Apple has made several changes in its graphics support within apps.  FileViewer is probably 64 bit; neither place said so outright but the App Store detected "it works on this Mac" (a Late 2019 iMac).

Nope. You may want to contact the company -- Sharpened Productions -- and talk with them. URL is https://sharpened.com.
