Images and video error/corrupted in project

I exported a complex project into an .mov file, and decided to go back to raise the volume of my background audio.

Fell for the "update you'll love our bug fixes" trap and updated to the latest version.
Now when I open the same project to fix the audio, my images look messed up (see screenshot), even though they appear just fine in the media preview (ie when selected in blue, visible in screenshot).

So what's going on and how do I fix this???

My attempt was not to fight it, but work around it:
- I copied my narration and bg music to a new project and imported my .mov, thinking that I'll remove the old audio, and replace it with the new. Oddly enough, when I play my (perfectly fine) .mov within the project, I get a similar corruption flashing for fractions of a second.
Don't know if that last bit helps you pinpoint the error a bit.

BTW, here's my exported .mov: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEu-zYAuXZU&feature=youtu.be
I was willing to live with this small issue, but since I started this ticket...notice how the zoom/ custom animation appears a little jittery on some of the images.  How do I prevent this?? It was much smoother in the timeline/project preview.

Thanks,

I am having the exact same problem.

Except:
I was willing to live with this small issue
It's not a small problem, it is horribly annoying, visible, and "in the way".

That "CRT T.V. tuner out of tune on a UHS channel" look might be 80s-retro, but it's 30+ years out of date for a shipping product.

I am going to see if I can go back to 2.6.x

<sigh>. Why does Firefox give me a line below this text box with "d e f g <box> <box> h i j k pre </" ?

So good news: Even though 2.7.0 was downloaded and installed last night when I quit camtasia, today when I manually checked for an update, 2.7.1 was ready. Downloading and installing that now ...

EDiT: It seems to work.

To anyone interested here's a solution, I opened a support ticket and got a fix for the messed up jpgs issue I've had - it's fixed in the 2.7.1

@keybounce
Yeah, you're right, if the jitter thing could be a big deal if I release another video (which I plan to)... Are you saying that if you switch "back to 2.6.x" you're not going to have this problem?

Actually, I'm saying that upgrading to 2.7.1 solved it -- I'm not going back down.

That's right. Downloading version 2.7.1 will solve this issue.
