I have just purchased snagit 12.
How do I import a simple .jpg to place on to one of my captures which i am working with in the editor?
I can see 'import from google drive' 'import from my places'...but I simply want to add an image from my files
??
Thanks

Hi there

You should be able to click File > Open and navigate to the image. Then open the "bottom layer" image in the SnagIt editor and click and drag the upper level image from the thumbnails across the bottom to the open image.

Cheers... Rick :)

Seems a really long winded way to insert an image.
I used snagit 8 for years, and all you did was select 'insert image' and find your file, then insert it.
is there no equivalent function in snagit 12?

If there is, I've not found it yet. Then again, I never claim to know all there is about anything. Perhaps I've overlooked something and Joe Morgan or another user will pop in to advise. :)

All I do is File - Open and click on the file. It's now visible in the editor. Copy & paste to the image and then position it; heat and serve.
