Import Camtasia 2019 Mac projects into 2020 Failures

I am importing Camtasia 2019 Mac projects into Camtasia 2020 Mac. So far so good but one series from one client simply will not work.  I get an error message, "Conversion Failed" with no explanation.
I have tried removing .mov and others but to no avail.
Has anyone else had failures like this and are there any solutions?
Thanks

Turnaround time with our support dept is a bit slow right now - there's so, so many more people trying to make online videos these days - however if you have some patience we could probably look at the project and fix whatever is causing the hiccup. Plus it would help us identify any bug there might be here. (I don't want to encourage you to post your private project here)

Thanks Paul.  I have the same problem with .zip files with the same projects.  May I send you one?

Again.  I have many active clients for whom we make videos and all their projects can be converted to Camtasia 2020 Mac.  Only one series of projects, from one client, won't work and I can't seem to find the anomaly.

yeah please open a support ticket, and maybe mention this thread, so our dev team can take a peek at one. The support staff should be able to give you a secure place to upload your project so we can reproduce the issue.

I don't have as much history, but i just got Camtasia 2020 for mac a little over a month ago.  No problems and then starting yesterday, i simply cannot open any of my projects.  The screen goes immediately dark and my whole system re-boots.  Does anyone else have this problem?  i feel for Brad as i can't imagine having that much work into this and not being able to open.  I'm afraid to start investing time into learning this if there are issues every time the software upgrades?

I've submitted a ticket now and will report back here.  It's weird that all our projects can be converted except for those from one client.  I've tried deleting media like .mov files but no luck.

Goodness; entire system reboots are a pretty severe problem.
Generally, the software code itself is pretty incapable of doing that (or else it's just the kind of virus people would write). However, a bad video driver or similar could be getting triggered by our use of the graphics card for rendering things.

It's hard to guess what could be at the bottom of such a crazy problem, but it'd be best to get ahold of our support staff who could walk you through some troubleshooting steps and system diagnostics.

2020.0.3 was released today and I know it fixed one upgrade failure involving sketch motion callouts.   You will have to download the new version directly from here https://www.techsmith.com/download/camtasia/.
