I imported an .mp4 video and in the thumbnail it shows that there are images, but when I drag the video into the timeline I get a black screen.  The audio plays, but the visual element is missing.  I'm sure there is a super easy fix, but I haven't found it yet.  TIA for your help!

We've heard of this from a couple of people so far, though we cannot reproduce it here. We've seen that a couple things might help (please let us know?)
1 - close down other programs, things that could be taking up a lot of memory, like 20-30 tabs in a browser
2 - We THINK it only happens on OSX 10.10. Is that what you're on?

One more thing- you mentioned you're on v2; you could try out the trial of v3

Ha...what leads you to believe I might have a bazillion apps and windows open?  ;)  (I'm the worst!)  I just started up my computer and viola, the images on the video are there.  Thank you!

Good! Do you mind if I ask if you're also on 10.10? Ideally, this wouldn't happen at all, regardless of what else is going on, so we're still trying to get a root cause.
