Hi there, I am using Snagit 2020 and the new font (well added to my font folder for windows) does not show up into the list of font within Snagit. Would you have an idea on how I could have it available in Snagit too? I have rebooted etc. but no success yet. Thanks!

Just for the sake of it: is that font available in other Windows programs?

Unfortunately that is one that doesn't seem to work in Snagit.

I installed it from a few different sources and tried.

Once in awhile you run into one that will not play with Snagit.
I don't know why.

Fonts need to be a TTF font which the one you are referencing is but...

You may want to get with support and see what they say.

As a workaround you can in Word do your text with that font and then copy it and then paste it into a text box in Snagit.

You can do all the edits to it. Size, color, shadow etc.

Not surprising. In my experience, free fonts do not always meet all the TTF requirements.

Theres something fundamentally amiss with that font.
I had Blackout Midnight, and 2 other time frames installed on my computer. Midnight is the only time Photoshop recognized or could access.

I installed a fresh download of the font. Uninstalled the other 3 time zones. Now I have Blackout 2AM.
I fail to see any difference between the time zones.
SnagIt still fails to find it, but theres something off here.

Well I uninstalled any blackout font I had on my computer. (Win 10)

I downloaded the blackout font family here.
https://www.1001fonts.com/blackout-font.html#styles

I install all 3 of them all at once.
Important: FOR ALL USERS
closed and restarted Snagit and they are now in Snagit 2020.1.1

So in my case it was the source files actually were blame, the ones you provided a link to installed without any issues.
There could be many reasons for this. IT worked is all that matters in the long run.
I didn't have to uninstall the one that worked in WORD first.

I have had issues with other fonts and it was always because of the source file.

All fonts are not created equal.

That was the issue earlier when I tried to get the blackout midnight font working in Snagit.

I didn't even know there was a family of those fonts until your earlier post.

As you said,  the ones from the link I posted worked and that makes it a wrap :)

I'm not sure where or when I downloaded them? A long time ago is all I got {:>)
