Hi,

I am trying to put usability videos together from several sources.

Whenever I import media of the type MP4 and then edit it to fit with the voice over narration, the MP4 image breaks up, shears, pixelates and degrades at the edit cut point in the movie.

Can you help?

Hi Susan,
For that type of problem, you might want to get in touch with our support department (it's free). They're great at diagnosing these issues, and they may want to get the project/videos from you so we can try them out on a dev machine and figure out the problem.

You can create an account and submit a ticket here:

Also, is this question about Camtasia Studio or Camtasia:Mac?

Hi Randy:

I use both Camatasia Studio and Camtasia:Mac...
The problems have been observed when I edit down files on Camtasia Studio. I haven't done the merging and editing on my Mac setup yet.

I just created an account to post this message... can I use that or do I need yet another account to submit a ticket?

Thanks for your quick reply.

Unfortunately, this site and our support site are hosted by different systems. So you have to create another account on the support site.

It's annoying, I know :-(.
