In-App Updates

Is it possible to make non-purchase updates available as in-app updates? I'm not a developer, so I'm not sure what the differences are. My company has shut down employee access to download files, so every time there is a Camtasia update, I need to submit a request for someone in IT to download it for me, and then wait a week or so for my IT department to get around to it. In-app updates would allow me to bypass the IT protocol, because updates are made within a downloaded app that has already been approved by my IT team.

You can download an update from home for free this link. https://www.techsmith.com/download/oldversions

Copy it to a flashdrive and bring it to work. If you won't get into trouble for doing it.

I'm not sure if the computer will think you have the appropriate permissions to install it.

You can also download the latest versions from the TechSmith website as a free trial. They always carry the newest version on the website. If you have a valid key installed. Th installer recognizes this and doesn't ask for a key again.
