Unable to Share via Email in Snagit 13.1.0 (7494)

When trying to share via email, I'm getting an error after 1-2 minutes that says: "Unable to Send email message (MAPI Error 2).

I used Snagit 11 for so long, so well, I forgot if there is something I need to do in the settings.  I've looked in the preferences but I don't see any way to designate an email client and make adjustments.

Hi there!

Do you have Outlook (or similar) installed on the computer, so you are using an actual Mail program?

I'm using Outlook 2016, worked flawlessly with Snagit 11

Hi!

If you check under the Windows Default Programs (on Windows 7, 8, and 10 it is easiest to get there by clicking the Start Menu and just typing Default Programs), is Outlook 2016 set as the specific default mail app?

You may need to also check under the "Mail" option in the Control Panel (when its view is set to "Categories").

Mail and Default Programs are listed as Outlook 16.  I've used Outlook 16 for over a year with Snagit 11.

I was having other problems with Windows.  I did an In Place Windows Upgrade and notice that Snagit is now loading a send email window from Outlook 2016 like it did with Snagit 11.
