While you can't do that exactly with the new V12 interface it is possible to capture just images.  Keep the flyout  open by pressing the horizontal bars [#1] then you can click on the image profile [#2] and just capture image.  This bypasses the red button and makes this truly a one click operation.

Another way is to give the image profile a hotkey sequence that you like and use that particular sequence.  I don't believe it can be the print screen key though.  It looks like TS reserved that key for the new capture interface.

Adding to the great information Manny provided, here's how you can reset the Print Screen hotkey to work with another profile. http://www.screencast.com/t/pJ27knzmsF1 I hope this helps.

I thought the Print Screen key wasn't available Pam because it won't change for me.  It could be that it's because I have V11 installed but this is what happens when I try.

Version 11: Quick access to any profile and then using the general print screen hotkey for capturing according to profile.

version 12: forcing you to have to choose every single time if you want redo, image, video, change size.

For beginner users who don't know what they are doing, this may be fine. For power users (and let's be honest, people using a 50$ tool for screen casting are not doing it for an occassional snapshot) it is  not.

This alone is enough to let me install the 11 version again.
And no, assigning the hotkey to one simple profile is not enough.

Thanks for the reply. The Print screen is working fine, just after select the region will pop up the "Capture Image" & "Capture Video" for the user to choose. I do not know how to set it permamently to capture image without user to choose at each time. Image as below :

That can not be done.  You have to use the alternate methods mentioned above.

Thanks,i only use capture image & it become not effective now for V12 comparing to V11 in this function. For V11, Print screen directly go for capturing image instead of choosing either capture image or Video in V12. Hopefully the developer can do an improvement on this.

Hi Manny - Sorry you're having trouble with that. Did you make sure to change or remove Print Screen as the global hotkey first? If that's not done, it'll give you the error message. Let me know if you're still having issues.

I got it Pam.  Hit the X to remove the global hotkey and then reassign the Print Screen key to Image only capture.  That does work Pam. Thank you.

So that's how you do it Lee if you want the Print Screen key to be used to capture images only.
