Snagit Editor 11: Although the Pen tool Width is set to 1 px, clicking with the Pen tool always inserts a square of 4 pixels!
So how can I insert one single pixel with the Pen tool?

Hello,

Thanks for the details and description you've provided. I made you a video showing how I am able to get a one-pixel pen in Snagit 11. http://screencast.com/t/Bq189nWbt

Does that help?

Sincerely,
Mike Curtis

Hi Mike,

thank you very much for the video! I've found the culprit: It's the SHAPE setting. When the Shape is set to Square then a 4 pixel square is drawn (although Width is set to 1 px). Only when the Shape is set to Circle then 1 pixel is drawn (as desired).

So I think this is a bug, because when the Width is set to 1 px, one would expect that 1 pixel is drawn (as it happens with the circle shape). There is no reason why a 4 pixel square should be drawn when Width is set to 1 px. This seems logical to me.
