I am pretty much a newbie. If I want to insert a portion of a YouTube video in a video I am making, I am thinking that I first have to download it and then import from within Camtasia (8). Is that correct or no? Thanks in advance!

Hi Joe,
I just came upon your answer here. I'm using Camtasia 3 for Mac.  Really basic question: How do you download a YouTube video?  I know how to embed, but I don't see a download button. I want to input a 1 minute .gov video (public domain) into my Camtasia video.

Thanks!

Update: I just went to the comments section of the video and saw that they agency gave me another link to download the video. Yay.
