Inserting a aduio clip to correct a garbled section.

Is it possible to cut a section of audio and insert a correction into the timeline? I have been trying to do this but I can't seem to get it to work instead of inserting it runs over the the timeline instead of blending in.

Hi.

First, you need to lock the track with the screen, then select the garbled audio section, cut, and drag the new audio to the audio track.

(There are 2 tracks, the screen and the audio system track. If you lock one of them, you can work with the other track without any problems).

On the timeline, don't forget to point first the playhead where you want the file, and then drag the file there.
