install camtasia / snagit to another drive than :C , is it possible??

i want to install camtasia to another drive other than the :C drive. i have a new pc and my c drive is a Nvme 512gb. i dont want to install camtasia on that C drive. i have an SSD drive that has 1tb of space and i would like to install it there. is this possible??

Well,  of course it's possible . .  unless tech smith programmers hardwired their software to any other location - they THOUGHT was better selected by them. And, IMHO, TS programmers are still learning.

i found the way, and its actually very easy. when during the initial install, you check "custom install" and that will allow you to install to another drive.  i did it and it worked.

This might be the time to tell all you brave SSD users that you can store most of your programs, prgramdata and appdata on other droves  by moving it then  making a junction from the new location back to where it was.. I keep Link shell extension installed,

but there is a good one put out by Bitsum that is free and does the  move and makes the junction all in one click

It is really easy but do try it on something simple a few times so you see exactly what is going on. I recommend Link Shell extension as it makes all kinds of links   but the one from Bitsum automates it
