Hi,

Sorry about this! What versions of Snagit and macOS are you running?

If you're on macOS 10.15 beta, there is a known issue with system audio that we hope to have fixed soon.

I'm on macOS 10.14.6 and using SnagIt 4.1.10. I tried installing SnagIt 4.0.7, which is now crashing every time I do a panoramic capture.

Hi,

I would reach out to our Tech Support for this, version 4 should still work with 10.14. Note that version 4 will not be guaranteed to work on 10.15

I have the same problem running Snagit 3.7.7 on macOS 10.14.4 with an additional problem that since i installed Snagit on this machine (Yesterday) audio caption with Quick time player doesn't work anymore. I've installed the system audio component more than 10 times and it says successfully installed everytime and yet the button is greyed-out and prompts for installation. I can find no sign of this system audio component in the library folders in my system. What would it be called if present?

Hi,

I would reach out to Tech Support, Snagit 3 is not supported on macOS 10.14, but they may be able to help you get it to work.

I figured out how to do it. I had to install 4.0.7, then install system audio component, then reinstall 4.1.10.
