Interactive Hotspot doesn't work in Sharepoint

I've created a video with an interactive hotspot, which is a
link to another video. Right now, both videos are on Screencast.  The hotspot works perfectly. View a vid and while viewing I can click the hotspot and the second video launches. However, after I upload the video to my company's Sharepoint site - the link doesn't seem to be recognized. It also doesn’t seem to be recognized if I view the video (.mp4 file) in stand-alone mode.  Did I do something wrong? Should I expect the hotspot to work in Sharepoint?

interactive content like hotspots only work when viewed using the Smart Player; MP4 videos use a special version of the Smart Player which uses XMP data embedded in the MP4 file; if you host elsewhere, like your own web site, you need to upload ALL the production files, then launch using one of the 2 HTML files in the file set; these HTML files will use the Smart Player to display the video in a browser; I don't use Sharepoint, but if you uploaded only the MP4, interactive content will not work
