interactive hotspot - Pause at End

I'm a using Camtasia 9.1.1 on Win 10.

I created my course description and objectives in PPT. Then, I imported the ppt into Camtasia. Next, I created an Interactive Start button hotspot on the last PPT slide for the learner to click when he's ready to begin the software simulation. The software simulation was created using Camtasia's screen recording and placed on the timeline, when completed the course will be rendered as a SCORM file.

When you choose "pause at end" and "click to continue" feature will the timeline automatically paused in the rendered file until the learner clicks the interactive start hotspot button? If so, does that mean I can aligned the software simulation recording right after the last ppt slide.

Thanks much!

the hotspot will pause as described as long as you produce with controller [smart player]; the video needs to be viewed in a browser, using either the xxx_player.html or xxx.html launch files; your software simulation clip should start at the end of the hotspot so it will play after hotspot is clicked; I don't do scorm so I can't address that item

suggest you do custom production to MP4 with controller; for best hotspot behavior, set keyframes to 1 second; your hotspot should be at least 1 sec in duration

Thank you kayakman,

I just completed a preview in smartplayer and I also set hotpost to 2 sec duration. Everything worked exactly the way I wanted it.

Thank you again....
