Invert Colors in Snag-it v13

Regarding   Snag-it v13.    Invert Colors (under effect Filters).

Q:  Can I add Invert Colors to QUICK EFFECTS or to the Customize Toolbar?    Anything easier than the cumbersome way it works now?     Toolbar adding was available in previous versions of Snag-It.     Why did you take basic convenience functionality away like this in Snag-It v13?

I would like that as well. I did manage (at my previous company) to add the Filters option to the toolbar (but can't figure out how to do that at the new place), but IDEALLY I would like to add the Invert colours to the toolbar (since that's basically the only one I use in effects)

I would like that option as well. It is very handy to quickly invert some screenshots for efficiency when printing.

When you copy a black image with white copy, it would be great to invert those colors so you are not printing so much black to blur the white image.  Can this be done in Snag-it 2018?  If it can, how ??

The Invert colors filter is found under the Effects tab. Then under Filters.

Hi Joe -

OP here.   The "Invert Colors" functionality, which obviously is often used by many of TS's customers, really deserves BETTER accessibility than the too cumbersome way it works now.  I mentioned this in the OP.   Previous versions of snag-it allowed us to add Invert Colors to the tool bar, super easy and convenient.  Please send feedback to the developers.

And anyone else reading this, please say something here, I think we need the power of numbers.

I use the invert colors all day long, and need easy access.  So I cannot upgrade my Snagit software, the new versions are essentially useless for my purposes.   FWIW, it would also be very helpful to be able to easily overlay a graph-paper like grid over my captures, but again, it has to be easy and quick to be of any use.  It seems like each new software version requires more keystrokes or mouse clicks than the last, even things like "Crop".

So I don't know how convenient this would be to you. Not suggesting it is.

If you have the Filter Icon added to the Toolbar. And the invert filter was used last.

You would click the Filter Icon first. Then Apply in the Properties Panel.Which opens automatically. So 2 clicks, 2 locations.

Then, if you use the toolbar to switch to another tool. The properties panel switches to that tool if necessary.

So, it is what it is.
