In a video with multiple objects on the canvas (e.g. a picture, small video trac, etc), is it possible in the editor to simple select one of the objects such as the picture and then click to zoom it?  I find that I'm often having to zoom out to full video size, then I need to zoom in on a specific object but I'm having to manually zoom and pan the zoom window.  It would be so much nicer just to click the object then something like right-click "zoom to object".

Also, a similar question has to do with the corresponding zoom out... how do I quickly zoom out to full video extents again other than manually doing it?

There is no click to zoom in feature as you have described.

However, for zooming out you simply hit the resize button shown below.

If you are recording screen activity and you hover your mouse in a specific area for a few seconds, I believe that's when the "Smart Focus" feature kicks in. When you open the TREC in Camtasia, you have an option to apply Smart Focus. I don't use the feature myself, as I like to manually do things. But maybe this is what you are looking for?
