You can assign "Print Screen" as the Keyboard Shortcut "Hot Key" to Panoramic Capture.

That's all it would take.Just hit print screen and ignore the Giant Red Button altogether.

Thanks Joe. Yes. I noticed the "Hot Key" option but since the OneClick is anchored to the top of my screen, I was hoping to use the mouse without recourse to the keyboard. I know the OneClick menu has a presets submenu for Panoramic capture and it is simple to select that, but it would be helpful to be able to set a preference for Panoramic rather than screen capture as the default.

I agree with you 100% Mark. I bit the bullet and assigned hot keys to the only 2 profiles I  use on a regular basis. They are easy to remember because I use them so often.

However, you could assign any profile you wanted to the One Click Button in SnagIt 11 and many of the previous versions as well. "All Maybe?"I haven't used all of them.

People have requested the return of that long held feature ever since.
Here was the soultion released with SnagIt 13.

You can obstruct a large portion of you screen with this huge capture Window instead.
You can assign any profile to it you want. That giant button works every time. To be honest, I think it's an utterly ridiculous compromise and design.
I'd suggest you install SnagIt 11 but it doesn't have Panoramic Capture.

Yep, panoramic capture is new with SnagIt 13. One of my favorite features for sure. I think what 11 offered that was similar was "scrolling" capture. But this failed in many cases.

Cheers... Rick :)

only problem is the the 'panoramic' capture, does not display in facebook as a default 360 picture. Do you have any tips on how to make sure the panoramic capture is displayed as a 360? With the option to move it up and down and rotate? Is to do with the Metadata? Any help would be great.
