Is it possible to NOT have .trec files save automatically?

This might sound odd, but I do a lot of screencasting and often restart my screencast if I make too many mistakes. So, is there a way to force Camtasia Recorder to NOT automatically save every .trec file?

The goal is to only save the .trec files that are actually saved inside the Project. What's happening is that my storage is filling up with numerous failed attempts which are difficult to find and delete based on the standard naming convention. I thought a workaround might be to have Camtasia delete any unused .trec files automatically, only saving those that become part of a saved Project.

Any ideas on how to do this?

I prefer not to autosave as well. In the recorder options I have, on the program tab, "Do this with my recording" set to Save rather than Auto. On the General tab, under the [File  Options...] button I have the selection set to "Ask me for file name".

This ensures that at the end of a recording I'm prompted about whether to save or not. The only down side is that the file is not automatically added to the project with these settings, but it's easy enough to go to the project, press Ctrl + i, and insert all of the recordings in one go after I'm done.
