Hi, our staff are always asking to be able to save videos to disc for further editing rather than publishing straightaway. Is this something I could set up for them?

Marion,
No, this is not a workflow present in Relay. I would say that burning things to disc is kind of an odd workflow though. Do you know what they're using to edit the files? Is it Camtasia? Another option might be to specify an FTP destination (or similar) and have an editable version published there that notified the user when it was ready.
Basic Premise
Please contact me if you'd like to discuss this further.
Sincerely,

Basic Premise
- User does recording. (From his/her own machine or podium machine.)
- User gets email saying video is ready to be edited.
- User edits video and then republishes it to Relay or via their own mechanisms.

Thank you Walter, I thought that was the case. I get a lot of requests from academic staff who would like to be able to save to disc in order to edit out the Ahs and Ums before they upload. We have Camtasia Studio but not a site-wide licence so academics would probably be using free video editing software. They do already have the capability of downloading from our video server, editing and re-uploading but that does add to the production time.
Not to worry, I just thought I'd check that out.
