I am installing my software in a clean install of Windows 10 and don't know if I'm using the latest version of Snagit that I'm entitled to.  I installed vs. 12.3.0 (build 2789) - but the UI doesn't look like it did on my old installation (the editor is black on the new installation - and is white on the old installation).

And for the UI color,  I believe there is an option that allows your choice of a light or dark theme.

For your version 12 release, this it the last one I installed and still use as my primary image capture:

If you already have your key but just aren't sure which version it goes with, the easiest way to find out is to go to, login or create an account, then register your key under the My Products tab. That will give you a download button for the last maintenance release of that version.

The steps are:

Also, Snagit 12.2 introduced a light theme as an alternative to the default dark theme (available from the preferences). So it's possible you had a version of Snagit 12 installed previously and had switched to the light theme. If so, Snagit 12.4.1 is the last maintenance release in the v12 that's the one you would want to install.
