Is Snagit a Win32 or UWP (Universal Windows Platform) application?

I was a Mac Snagit user and loved it. I wound up having to switch to Windows 10 and was happy to see that Snagit was available on Windows. I use a 4K monitor as my main display and use my laptop a second display. I did this with my Mac and now my Dell.

I find that that the Snagit UI is either oddly big or oddly small depending on whether I'm using the two-display set-up or standalone laptop display. I can reboot and it looks right on the standalone laptop display. This is the case for some other apps like Adobe Reader.

I did some web research and Microsoft has a good article that describes these scaling issues for "high-DPI devices". It indicates the UWP apps know how to scale correctly, hence my question. For record, I'm using Snagit 13.1.0. I see there is a thread discussing this that was closed 8 months ago and it says that the issue was addressed in version 13. But not for me...

I seem to recall a thread about display size size/screen issues a few weeks ago. Have you looked? Don't remember if it was on 2-monitor systems.

Hi Mike;

Shagit 13 should work on 4k monitors (even if your DPI settings are not set to the standard 100% DPI) so if you are seeing something different we'd want to look into the issue a little further. Have you opened a support ticket yet?
