Is the Interactive Hotspot what I want to be using?

I am using Camtasia 2019. I want to have a term on the screen that when the user clicks on it, a definition opens. If they don't click on the term, the definition remains hidden.

Basically, I want clicking on one annotation box to open a second annotation box but I want the user to have to actually click on it for the second one to open.

I haven't been able to find this in the help/tutorials and searching these forums hasn't turned it up for me.

yes, a hotspot will do what you want

use a go-to-marker or go-to-time hotspot to navigate to a section that shows what you want; you can use another hotspot at that location to return you to the original spot

Hello - This solution sounds it would be ideal for the video I'm doing. Is there a tutorial or screencast video that provides a more detailed explanation?   Cheers,

Hi Melody

Can you be more specific about what you would want the hotspot to actually do?

I ask because there are some limitations with these little beasties.

Cheers... Rick :)

Thanks. I knew I was on the right track but was missing a few steps, especially returning to the original spot.
