Is there a quick way to reduce image size for inline email?

I use Snagit 11 Windows to capture screenshots of my help documentation to send to developers for review. I end up inserting the image into an Outlook email message then having to reduce the size which makes it blurry and I often have to do this for several images. Is there way to insert and resize an image in one move?

I can't answer your question but I have a similar use case for WordPress where I want to constrain image sizes to a maximum width of say 900 pc. Would be nice to able to that as part of capture. Is there anything in capture options? Away from PC at the moment so can't check.

I AM ON 13 SO i AM DOING THIS FROM MEMORY BUT ...
I made a copy o f the default "image" preset.
I changed it to clipboard and no editor
Under EFFECTS  I chose "Scale image" and set it to 500px tall
Assigned a hot key and it suits my purposes

Of course if you select one 25 px  tall long line you will get a mess but hopefully we remember to use another preset

Nice.  That gets me part way there thanks Rick and will probably sort out the OP.  But in my use case I don't want any scaling if the images is already less that 900 wide.  I'm screwed aren't I? :)

You can set up a profile that sends them all to the editor (without opening it if you so choose) then go over them and batch resize them in the editor before saving

It can't make the decision on which ones to resize although that would be an interesting feature. You MIGHT look for a batch resizer as a stand alone program that offers that kind of input. I have never seen one but then again I have never looked for it
