Is there a Save and Copy to Clipboard functionality? I understand the finalize button that will save my screen capture, but then I add arrows and some other information. I would like to click one icon to "save and copy to clipboard" so it can be pasted directly into Outlook or other apps. Often, I will click save, copy to clipboard - recognize i need to add another callout, click save and click copy to clipboard. It would be nice if there was a single button that was "Save and Copy". I'm hoping it exists and I'm just blind.

You have this question in the Camtasia Forum but it sounds like a Snagit question. Yes?

If its about Snagit, I don't know of a save/copy in one swoop but in the newer version you can drag and drop a capture that is the Recents tray on to most other applications.

So you could do a save and then just drag and drop the capture from the recents tray in to outlook for example. No need to copy to clipboard.

Another quick method to do a Save/copy is use shortcut keys.
Re-edit your already saved capture Than just do CTRL+ S (save) and CTRL + C (copy)

As Dubie said, that drag and drop operation is "the bomb". Since they added this capability I almost NEVER have to save images from SnagIt any more. And I use SnagIt at least 100+ times a day. Literally

+1 for drag and drop from the tray.
