Is there a way to force the video to pause between PowerPoint slides

I am creating an online training where there are certain points that I would like the player to pause, while other slides I want to seamlessly transition between one another. Is there a way to insert a function that will pause only after the slides I need it for in the video?

Hi,
You could maybe do this two different ways that I can see right off. Others might have some other ideas.
1. if you don't want a true pause - where the video actually stops, you can build in some padding by moving the slides apart on the timeline and smoothing the move from one slide to another by adding Fade Through Black transitions on the slides.

2. Add hotspots that pause the video where you want. With this method, the viewer will need to click the video to continue to view it. Using this method, you need to consider using the TechSmith Smart Player with your video.

This help topic shows how to create a hot spot. For more information about the Smart Player, please see the help file.

I hope this helps!
Again, others in this community might have other ideas for you.
