Is there a way to make Camtasia automatically adjust the recorded video size to the size of the canvas? It is quite time consuming for me to manually to this resizing all the time.

Can you please provide a screen shot, even if you may not have the 8th edition.

Thanks.

To bring up the Editing Dimensions, I right-click and see the following

My recorded videos are always smaller than the canvas. How can I set it up so that whenever I embed a new video, it is automatically enlarged to fit the canvas which is set at 1920x1080?

It is 8.1.2 (Build 1327). If I use the recording dimension, I have to manually choose the same  dimension when exporting the video? Will it affect the quality of the videos? Is it better?

I believe 8.6 was the last version of CS8 released; you should download the free upgrade

best practice is to capture [record], edit, and produce using same dimensions; doing so optimizes quality
