The way that Snagit created the torn edge from 12 to 13 it is very discernible. See the two below screenshots. SnagIt 13 is way too light. Any way to change the transparency settings? And before you ask, I used the same settings from 12 to 13.

Thanks for the video! However, those are the steps I already applied but as you can see in the snapshots above, the SnagIt 13 version is lighter using the same set of options I used in 12. It looks like 13 has applied a different set of transparencies to the edges.

Yes I noticed the 'lighter' color of the Snagit 13 edges and in the video I show how to darken & even change the size of the edges.
Sorry that wasn't the answer you were looking for. I misunderstood what you wanted.

You can also change the thickness of the border so the ragged edge is more apparent.

Rick, I think that just might solve my issue. It looks like it may be the workaround I need. Thank you Steve and Rick for coming to the rescue.

I am glad that a workaround was found for you. You should Not need a workaround.
My same premise is why did TechSmith decide to change behaviors
that were working well for users in v12 and seemingly broke them in v13?
Sorry for the same old rant.

Agreed...TechSmith, however has been good about working through those issues I had with v13. I was provided a workaround for the Quick Effects not saving, for instance. Thanks to everyone who responded to this question. It helped immensely.
