I have been a user since the later releases of Version 2. I have always been a happy user but I am disappointed to be losing some valuable features, if I move to Version 11 - to wit:
Removed the Web Capture mode.
Removed various region capture options including capturing triangle region, a rounded rectangle region, an ellipse region, etc.
Am I missing something? Does Version 11 offer alternative solutions to my needs in this area, or should I stick with Version 10?

Hi Mr. Roper,
Thank you for the feedback. If you use Web Capture mode, we do not have an alternate in Release 11. For the shape captures, we still have the Shape selection tools in Editor so you can select areas in the shape of a triangle, etc.

Release 11 also includes new features and top customer requests:
- instantly sharable MP4 video capture
- spellcheck for callouts and text boxes
- Chrome auot scrolling capture
- YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Evernote outputs
- centered canvas for easier editing on all sides of your captures
- easier resizing options
- new stamps
- paste directly from your clipboard
- your license includes Snagit in Mac Release 2 as well

You can install a Release 11 trial and still keep Release 10 installed. Then you can try out the new version yourself and let us know what you think.

Thank you,
Tiffany

I am a bit perplexed by the feature changes as well. It's not like I use the omitted features very often but I find it rather odd to lose functionality in an upgrade. I wonder how the market and product development discussion reached the conclusion to pull out these options.

I'm a very longtime and avid user of Snag It so I know that I'll upgrade. Had nothing been omitted, I would have updated upon release but, due to these feature omissions, it has taken me this long to find the time to give it due consideration.
