Anything from Snagit 10 and older saves files in an .avi format, if that is what you are looking for.

You can use any of the video converting programs if neither of these two file types meet your needs. I happen to like Any Video Converter available here for free: http://www.any-video-converter.com/pr...

Thanks.
But I think that it would be nice to provide more than one output video file in the next versions because as you know, a converted video will never be the same as the original one no matter what video converter you use..

Thanks for the feedback alino.

When we consider requests like this, it's helpful to know what formats you'd like to support and why.

Mp4 is the most popular video format on the Internet which is why we've been steering our users (and products) toward this option. Here's a thread which is somewhat related:

Now Glenn that's like saying that vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor so we don't need to serve strawberry. I'm sure you know how that will go over.

I'm not ruling anything out, just explaining why we choose mp4.

Also, you can put strawberries on your vanilla ice cream ;)
