Issues after separating audio from video in Camtasia 9

After audio editing of recorded ppt with voice, I separated the audio from video and moved the audio track to the left for syncing. With the movement, the audio is having issues. The edited parts (silence) are staying static, so when I move the audio track to the left or right I have silence on unusual spots, not on the firstly edited places. Something like the edits stay frozen with the timeline, not with each track separately

Schteck,

could you take a screenshot of your timeline and show the problem? Something like this:

(captured using Techsmith Snagit, of course!)

Here Dave http://www.screencast.com/t/43OR2l15r

After the separation and shifting, the audio silences are not in the same spots, they are moving on the audio track

Schteck,

I watched your video three times. I can't really see what's happening, because there seems to be some jerkiness in the video recording right at the critical part, around 0:40.

In any case, what I think you are saying is:
  1. You mute certain sections of audio
  2. Then you separate audio and video
  3. Then you move the audio around
  4. The muted part moves on the edited audio track.
That is very strange, and I've never seen anything like it. You should probably open a case with TechSmith support. Sorry I couldn't help!

This is still an in issue. When I render the video file, the audio has some strange bleeps and flops
Even if the audio track is not cut or edited in some way, these bleeps still occur
