Issues when updating SnagIt to lastest version

Just updated to the latest version. I am a great advocate of Snagit and its tech help. Noticed however on the last two updates that it ain't easy. Initially it goes ok then there's a message asking one to do one of three things 1) exit 2) retry or 3) cancel. That's where there seems to be an issue. I get round it by shutting down and then restarting. where it seems to then continue.

My guess is that you're getting that message because Snagit is still running in the background. A restart on the machine closes Snagit so it gets around the error.
