It would be great if it was possible to replace a video with hotspots on Screencast from Camtasia. I am still looking to replace a video, preserve the hotspots, and keep the same link. I was told that this is not possible!

Hello,

You can do this if you follow these steps:
  1. Create a local production of your project from Camtasia using the TechSmith Smart Player settings.  This will include things like hotspots in your video.
  2. Then you can navigate to the Screencast page with the media you want to replace and follow the steps in these screenshots.

You will want to upload just the MP4 file from your local production.

I hope that helps,
Ben

Swapping the media all happens through Screencast.com workflow, so there should be no difference between Camtasia Windows or Mac.
