In the latest version of Jing, the resolution of the screen always changes when creating a screenshot.
This is very annoying because not everything fits to the screen.
How can I disable this?

(I'm not an employee of TechSmith)
I had the same issue, but I now don't.  The cause of this is that I have two external monitors that I use in conjunction with my laptop monitor (two external have a native resolution of 1920x1080, laptop's native resolution is 2560x1440, which I use scaling for text and apps at 150%).  When using the default native resolutions, starting a capture caused all three monitors to zoom in.  Since I normally only need my laptop's default resolution when it's undocked, I set the resolutions on all monitors to 1920x1080 when docked.  After that I just restarted Jing, and I have no more zooming problems.
There was also an issue in the past when using two monitors side by side where one was 1920x1080 (landscape) and the other was 1080x1920 (portrait) where it also caused the zoom effect, but I think that was resolved in an earlier update.

Thanks Jerod.  Had been using Microsoft Snipping Tool as a work around and was really missing Jing.

I changed all monitors to 1920 x 1080, restarted Jing and all good.
